A
top-quality camp experience for young equestrians
Leap of Faith
Farms is the premier riding facility in the Bay Area. Our size, location, and amenities make us
truly unique among equestrian programs. Our instructors are adult professional trainers and counselors, and the
small size of both our regular lesson program and our camps means we can custom-tailor the experience to
suit each individual child.
In order to
ensure that quality takes priority over quantity, our camps are limited to 10 campers per week.During our time together, each child will learn how to be fully responsible for the complete
care of their horse or pony. They will each receive
two full riding lessons per day, as well as lots of horsemanship instruction and tons of fun.
Your camper will
receive a thorough foundation in horsemanship during camp as well as have
a great time.Campers bring their own sack lunch and snack.

All camps run 9am to 3pm Monday thru Thursday, and 9am to
1:30pm on Friday, and the camp week is always finished out with a horse
show where campers get to show off their new skills and elaborately
decorated ponies for family and friends!
We are excited to offer 2 different types of camps at Leap
of Faith Farms this summer! Our camps are unique in that we only take a
maximum of 10 riders per camp week, so each camper gets plenty of one
on one attention. Our beautiful facility offers a huge, shady covered
arena for mounted lessons, as well as an air-conditioned office for
activities and to cool off inbetween riding and outdoor activities.
Safety is our number one priority, both on the ground and when mounted
on the horses.
Our popular Regular Horsemanship Camps are
open to children ages 6 and up (5 yrs old with instructor approval),
and all ability levels. Multiple instructors and helpers at these camps
allow us to tailor mounted lessons to the skill level of each
individual rider. Campers receive 2 daily mounted lessons, classroom
lessons on other aspects of horses and their care, as well as
demonstrations by actual professional riders, veterinarians, and
farriers. Fun horse related games and crafts round out each day.
Campers will learn to groom, tack up, and completely care for their
horses during this weeklong camp. $825/week (non-refundable
deposit of $325 required to enroll).
Our Advanced Horsemanship Camps
require instructor approval to enroll, and are geared to the more
serious riders who already possess basic skills (can walk, trot,
canter), and want to learn and improve as equestrians! Daily mounted
lessons will include intensive dressage and jumping lessons, guest
trainers, as well as fun bareback lessons, and trail rides. In-depth
classroom lessons will cover topics like horse health and first aid,
horse show preparation, and much more. Friday's horse show will include
feedback from a professional rider in whichever discipline the camper
chooses to demonstrate. This camp is going to be so much fun, and a
great introduction to those riders who wish to own/lease and show in the
future, or just want to polish their equestrian skills! $950/wk
(non-refundable deposit of $325 required to
enroll).
Please contact Deb at deb.henry@ymail.com

We are looking foreward to a fun and exciting summer camp
season with all you you!!!!
