top-quality camp experience for young equestrians
Leap of Faith
Farms is the premier riding facility in the Bay Area.Our size, location, and amenities make us
truly unique among equestrian programs.Our instructors are adult professional trainers and counselors, and the
small size of both our regular lesson program and our camps means we can custom-tailor the experience to
suit each individual child.
In order to
ensure that quality takes priority over quantity, our camp is limited to seven
campers per week (ages 6 and up.)During
that week, each child will learn how to be fully responsible for the complete
care of their horse.They will each receive
two full riding lessons per day, as well as barn management lessons, blacksmith
clinics, equine dentistry instruction, and veterinary advice (when possible)
from trade professionals during the week.There is also a range of activities and games to round out the day, and
the week finishes with a Horse Show each Friday where the campers get to
demonstrate their newfound skills and take home prizes.Be sure to invite friends and family to come
and watch!
Your camper will
receive a thorough foundation in horsemanship during their week as well as have
a great time.We supply fruit, healthy
snacks, and water/juice all day, and campers bring their own sack lunch.
Camp
runs 9 am - 3 pm Mon through Thurs, and 9am - 1:30 pm on Friday
