4/21/08 Update: DENNIE COOK IS COMING TO LEAP OF FAITH FOR A HORSEMANSHIP CLINIC JUNE 28-29!

4/20/08 Update: "Spring Cleaning" around here has been exciting, with all paddocks getting refilled and repaired, the outdoor arena footing getting rejuvenated, the Main Barn wood getting sanded and stained by Alamo Painting, and the new bedding being installed by Perma Stall. There's a lot of hubbub but no one is complaining because it's just making life better for all of the horses!

3/19/08 Update: The 3rd Anniversary Party for LFF is SATURDAY MARCH 22 at Back 40 Texas BBQ in Pleasant Hill ! We have the whole upstairs to ourselves, a DJ, dinner, and a hosted bar from 6-7 pm (cash bar after 7 pm) We can't wait to see you all there! :-)

1/23/08 Update: The David & Cheryl Busick Western Performance (Trail Trials) Clinic on January 20th was terrific! All twenty-five participants had a great time, and we are excited to host them again as soon as possible.... THANK YOU DAVID AND CHERYL for your time and expertise!!!

1/19/08 Update: Everthing has been back to normal for about a week or so now -- all three arenas open, both roundpens fully functioning, all turnouts useable. THANK YOU everyone for zero complaints, total cooperation, and cool happy boarders flexing with the crazy circumstances last week!! You guys are the BEST! Hey, sneek peek info for those that check up on this link... The LFF Anniversary Barn Party his year will DEFINATELY be at Back 40 Texas BBQ! We are renting the whole upstairs room. Probably, it will be Saturday March 22 but that still has to be confirmed. YES there will be a DJ and dancing as usual! Meanwhile, tomorrow Sunday 1/20 is the David Busick western performance clinic (auditing is FREE) and there will be free Peet's Coffee and donuts for everyone.... so come on by and indulge. Finally, a big thank you to Pat Ward and "Dig This" grading for their wonderful work on our property fixing the little problems evidenced by that huge rainstorm.... they work fast, clean, and horse friendly THANK YOU!

1/5/08 Update: All of the horses are just fine in the rain! :-)  All of the guys are doing a great job stall cleaning through the rains and winds. The Indoor Arena is open for riding, and longeing is temporarily being done at the north end of the New Covered Arena (both round pens -- even the covered one -- got flooded by the sideways rain.) However, the extensive drainage systems are all working great and the entire facility remains useable. Even the turnouts are still in use (thanks to about 2 feet of packed wood chips!) during the occasions that the sun peeks through like it did on Saturday morning.

12/11/07 Update: Thank you BRAD HODGES and "Khool" for figuring out how to put the text within the picture on the Home Page -- YOU ROCK! Today the "counter" thingey is at 95 for our new website... but the old site is over 22,000... it is sad to leave those 22,000 behind. A moment of silence, shall we?

12/10/07 Update: HAY CHANGE! We have not been satisfied with the consistency of our meadow and orchard grass hay, and thankfully our broker found a grower to help us out until next summer (no easy feat in the current hay market!). So we are now serving TIMOTHY at all LFF Mealtimes! Yummy, yummy....

12/9/07 Update: From now on, for everyone's safety, please check in with the New Covered Arena BEFORE using the Northern Turnouts! Refer to our recent e-mail or ask Jim and Mariah if you have any questions about this.

Good news! We had a meeting with David and Cheryl Busick and we are checking our calendars for their first clinic dates. It will be sometime in January, and we decided that a TRAIL TRAILS CLINIC would have the most universal appeal. So keep your eyes peeled for an email with dates and costs for this upcoming extravaganza! All breeds, levels, and disciplines will be welcome.

11/16/07 Update: In light of the scheduling challenges everyone has in December, we are NOT having a Christmas party this year! Instead, we will be having a blow-out bash Anniversary Party in February to celebrate THREE YEARS of Leap of Faith Farms!

Saturday December 1st, Donna from "D Cookies" will be on site selling horse cookies. We will also have FREE Peet's Coffee and Donuts available for everyone in between the Indoor and Outdoor Arenas.

Please remember to keep LIGHTS OFF during the day, especially in barn aisles and arenas. Thank you for your help with this!

All Main Barn horses please remember to pick out hooves BEFORE exiting the stalls.....
